Marviliz Ávila

Marviliz is a Clinical Psychologist who graduated with a doctoral degree from the University of Puerto Rico. She has an M.A. in Religion from the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico and works part-time in services with children and adolescents in special education and a private office. She is also an associate professor at the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico.

Marviliz has collaborated in several publications on gender violence as part of the Organization called “Colectivo Ideologías y vivencias de los Géneros.”

 

She published an integration essay for the master’s degree in arts and religion that won an award entitled: "Consideraciones en torno a la Dimensión del Género y la Violencia en el Quehacer Interreligioso".
